20th General Assembly for Asia Pacific Metrology Programme (APMP)
The 20th APMP General Assembly and associated meetings will be held during the week of 18 - 22 Oct 2004 in Beijing, China. The meetings will be hosted by the National Institute of Metrology (NIM).

International Conference on gAdvances in Metrologyh
The Metrology Society of India (MSI) and National Physical Laboratory (NPL) are organising an International Conference on gAdvances in Metrologyh Admet 2005 on 23 - 25 Feb 2005 at NPL, New Delhi, India. The theme of the conference is Metrology for Manufacturing Sector and Global Competitiveness.
The Conference will be preceded by a one-day International Conference on gChemical Metrologyh on 22 Feb 2005 and followed by a two-day Training Course in gMass and Dimension Metrologyh on 26 - 27 Feb 2005.
The aim of the conference is to provide a common platform for technologists, scientists and metrologists to discuss the current issues on metrology and quality assurance and share their experiences and work in these fields.
This is the fifth conference. Previous conferences were organised in 1996, 1999, 2001 and 2003 and covered areas like Temperature and Dimension Metrology.
