5 first CMCs for Uzbekistan have been published in the KCDB: 3 in Ionizing Radioation (Dosimetry), 2 in Colour and other spectrally-integrated measurements of materials (Photometry and Radiometry) in 2024 year.

Since March 2024, UzNIM SSDL (Secondary Reference Dosimetry Laboratory) has become a full member of the IAEA/WHO SSDL Network.

UzNIM SSDL


 

UzNIM SSDL is the first laboratory in Central Asia operating within the structure of the national metrology institute. UzNIM SSDL provides metrological traceability of measurement results to the International System of Units (SI) in the field of dosimetry and has gained access to the international platform IAEA/WHO SSDL Network.

This Accurate time is synchronized with the National Time Scale of Uzbekistan UTC (UZ) and provides metrological traceability to the Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).


The Time and Frequency Laboratory also began to participate in the key comparisons CCTF-K001.UTC, which are carried out on a regular basis by the Consultative Committee on Time and Frequency (CCTF) of the BIPM to establish UTC.

 

UzNIM participates in 22 comparison projects: COOMET - 10; GULFMET - 5; APMP - 3; EURAMET - 2; CCTF - 1; SIM - 1.

Special attention is paid to nature and UzNIM planted more than 2.7K different trees (1.6K in 16 branches).
