Greetings from the APMP Chairperson: Invitation to Mid-year meeting Related Activities 2026
Dear APMP Colleagues and Friends,
We are pleased to invite you to the 2026 APMP Mid-Year Meetings, hosted by the National Measurement Standards – National Standardization Agency of Indonesia (SNSU BSN) taking place from 13th July 2026 till 17th July 2026, in Yogyakarta Marriot Hotel, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
The theme of the 2026 APMP Mid-Year Meetings Symposium, “Circular Economy for Future Sustainability”, closely aligns with this year’s UNESCO World Metrology Day theme, “Metrology: Building Trust in Policy Making” – metrology provides the trusted measurement foundation that makes circular-economy policies credible, enforceable, and internationally aligned. By bringing together National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) and Designated Institutes (DIs) across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on developing economies, the meeting aims to highlight the critical role of reliable and harmonized measurements in supporting sustainable, evidence-based policies. Through strengthened regional collaboration and the exchange of metrological expertise, the meetings will foster trust in measurement systems that underpin circular economies initiatives, enhance the harmonization of standards, and promote greater alignment and cooperation across the region.
