Strengthening Regional Collaboration for Sustainable Energy: 

APMP EEFG Announces International Workshop in Indonesia

• Hosted by: SNSU-BSN in collaboration with APMP EEFG, and DEC Focus Group Task Force

The APMP Energy Efficiency Focus Group (EEFG), in partnership with Indonesia’s National Institute of Metrology (SNSU-BSN), is proud to announce a three-day international workshop titled “Strengthening Collaboration for Quality of Sustainable Energy.” This landmark event will bring together over 100 key stakeholders from government, industry, academia, and National Metrology Institutes (NMIs) across the Asia-Pacific region.

Workshop Highlights:

• Day 1: Expert presentations on renewable energy traceability, smart grids, electric vehicles (EVs), and solar PV technologies. Speakers include leading scientists from NIM China, KRISS Korea, BRIN Indonesia, and NIMT Thailand.

• Day 2: Onsite visits to Indonesia’s PV testing laboratories and manufacturers, offering participants firsthand insights into national infrastructure and innovation.

• Day 3: Strategic discussions and lab visits at SNSU-BSN, including an EEFG workshop where NMI representatives will share stakeholder engagement strategies and future measurement needs.

   

Objectives:

• Showcase regional advancements in metrology for renewable energy and energy efficiency.

• Strengthen collaboration between NMIs and their national stakeholders.

• Support capacity-building and leadership development among APMP developing economies.

This workshop is part of the EEFG’s broader commitment to advancing sustainable development and energy transition goals through metrology. It also aligns with APMP’s strategic priorities in promoting quality infrastructure and regional cooperation.
